My name is Jamie Barton. I am a self-taught artist born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. In 2015, I went to a sip & paint class, fell in love and decided I wanted to this. I can host and guide mobile style art & crafts parties.

I discovered my artistic ability when I was 16 years old in an art class, I took in high school. My first medium was graphite, then charcoal & I drew portraits of my brother & dad when they were young. I couldn’t believe how great they turned out & how easy it came to me. I’m an outgoing introvert who wanted to prove to myself that I could get over my fear and anxiety of public speaking. In doing so, I’m also rewarded by showing others who think they can’t even draw a stick a figure, to painting a beautiful acrylic art piece. I love when people are proud of their accomplishment and can’t believe they did it! Teaching art, painting, and crafting all are a mental calm for me, and my goal is to share that with others who are like me and find a release in a little art therapy.
